Orpheo-Concert: Florian Koltun & Gernot Süßmuth (piano & violine)

Florian Koltun studied at the Cologne University of Music with Professor Ilja Scheps and at the Trossingen University of Music with Professor Tomislav Baynov. He is a prizewinner of numerous piano competitions. A busy concert life takes him throughout Europe and Asia as a soloist and chamber musician.

Gernot Süßmuth was concertmaster of the Staatskapelle Berlin and principal concertmaster of the Staatskapelle Weimar. From 1983 to 2000, he played in the Petersen Quartet. In 2004, he was appointed honorary professor at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar. In 2008, he founded the Waldstein Quartet together with friends.
