Dear friends of the EURIADE,
At the age of 93, our FRIEND and BEARER OF THE MARTIN BUBER PLAQUETTE died last Monday
ANDREAS VAN AGT together – hand in hand – with his wife EUGENIE
He was a person who always listened and was open to others with compassion. His words testified of goodness and justice, of comfort and joy to all who had to do with him.
I experienced him as a father, a brother, a dear friend.
He was very enthusiastic about the Euriade, about “Youth in Dialogue”, about the idea behind the presentation of the Martin Buber Plaque. His life consisted of “trust, responsibility and wonder” and the constant desire for “CONNECTION”.
Dear Dries, dear Eugenie!
We thank you. We were and are with you…
Your children Caroline, Eugenie and Frans and grandchildren will always have the memory and comfort of wonderful parents, of grandma and grandpa Van Agt.
Werner,
also on behalf of the Euriade team
and the curatorial Martin Buber plaque
